I was admitted to the Ambulatory Ward from the ED on Monday morning. I was seen quickly by a doctor and my treatment plan explained clearly.
Everyone in the unit took really good care of me. I was especially impressed with HCA Elise's ability to get my terrible veins. It was brilliant to receive my treatment and investigations in the unit, and be allowed home overnight to be with my family.
The unit was at full capacity (possibly over!) and yet I never felt like I was a nuisance. I want to wish the NQNs all the best in their new posts also. I'm rubbish with names but all of the nurses, HCAs, ward assistants, pharmacy technicians and doctors really were great. Thank you for your care.
"Great care"
