"Waiting list"

About: General practices in Fife Victoria Hospital / Neurology

(as a service user),

I have been back and forward to my GP for many, many months.

I have been given several different possible diagnoses then one or two of them have been withdrawn. I have also been sent for numerous tests which all come back clear. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of care as my health is now having a big impact on my daily life. Nothing gets followed up unless I push for further help.

Recently I had to attend the after hours to get my Obs checked. I was told all was clear however when I returned to see the nurse at my local surgery the following day they told me blood have been detected in a urine test. I was not told this at the time of the test.

As my GP appears to have no idea where to go next I have now been referred to Neurology as I have never been referred before. I was told this is a long wait for an appointment............here I go again!!

Although I do not want a 'label' I know my body.

Can you tell me how long I am likely to wait for an appointment please?

Hi there
