Was referred via Specsavers in August 2022 as both eyes are poor with cataracts. Had my referral appointment within 10 days and had my first cataract surgery 3 weeks later in September. The clinic is managed very well, and the staff are all extremely kind and helpful. I have to return to Specsavers at the end of October to see if the eye has healed and await referral of the second eye. Hopefully, it will be done before Christmas.
Two minor points to note, the approach to the building is not sign-posted enough to know that you have to go to the door round the back of the building. We entered the wrong door, and secondly, the waiting room where you have to sit for about an hour whilst the eye drops work before you go through for your surgery has the air conditioning blasting out freezing cold air, and it is very very cold. Apart from those minor points the whole experience is very re-assuring. Thank you
