About: Adult Psychological Therapy Services (APTS) / Southern Sector (Aisling Centre and Erne house)

(as a service user),

After a very successful experience with Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to no medication in 10 weeks! 

I recommended the therapy to a family member with severe Mental Health difficulties.  They have accessed talking therapies and CBT since Jan 22. Unfortunately they haven’t been successful.  I suggested that they try EMDR but she has been refused this treatment and to the best of my knowledge it will take her more than two years of suffering before she can try it?

It was available in Enniskillen in summer 2021. How can it be unavailable now?
