"Poor hospital care"

My father is alive despite, not because of the ‘care’ he received at Royal Bolton Hospital. I hope I am never admitted here. Initially spending 29 hours in A & E, it was a horrendous experience with what we found to be rude, unhelpful staff. He was left unchecked for so long that urine dried on him, never washed, forgotten about, given the wrong medicine, left to walk to the toilet despite being disabled and at a high risk of falling,  ignored and given no agency or courtesy. It was hellish.

He had the same experience on several wards. The staff were uncaring and disinterested. If family asked any questions  it felt like we were seen as bothersome. God help anybody on their own having to go into this understaffed and seemingly poorly run hospital!
