"Oral surgery"

About: Glasgow Dental Hospital and School / Dental

(as a service user),

Attended Glasgow Dental Hospital, Dept of oral surgery, re growth on tip of tongue. Had been referred by my dentist.

Made to feel welcome by staff involved, informed of what was happening at each stage, given time and reassurance following procedure. Cheerful and Calming atmosphere.

Very slick and organised procedure, by surgeon and assistant.

Most impressive given current climate.

Dear Stitched up,

I am very pleased to hear that you felt welcome when you attended for your recent appointment in our Oral Surgery Department. Our teams understand that patients may sometimes feel a little anxious when attending for treatment. I agree it is important that our patients are informed at each stage of their procedure, this goes a long way in providing reassurance.

Your kind comments are highly complementary. The team will be absolutely delighted that you felt that your treatment was carried out in a slick and organised manner!

Many thanks for taking the time to make a post, Fiona
