A huge THANK YOU to everyone involved in my care!
I had knee arthroscopy as a day surgery case in September & from the minute I arrived until the minute I was discharged I received the best, most attentive care. From my day surgery ward nurse Irene, to the anaesthetist and their team, the recovery team, the physio, the surgical nurses and of course, my surgeon Mr Al-Mouazzen, each of them were just absolutely fantastic!
Information regarding the procedure & recovery was explained clearly & concisely each step of the way & any questions I had were answered without issue. I had a few extra medical needs whilst under anaesthesia (for pre existing health conditions) and the team went above & beyond to accommodate those needs.
I'm back on the waiting list for knee arthroplasty & already feel relaxed about being back at Ayr Hospital for the procedure as I know I'll be very well cared for.
