"I experienced very high standards of care"

I was recently admitted to the urgent care assessment unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

Whilst there for the day I experienced very high standards of care from everyone involved. This involved clinical assessments, various tests, initiation of treatment and a plan for further outpatient investigations after I was discharged. I was given tea and a sandwich at lunchtime - that may seem like a small detail but it can easily be overlooked and is, in fact, very important.

I would particularly like to mention Dr Barwell and ANP Teagan for their exemplary calm and confident care. Thank you.

Good Morning dancewt55

Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your experience with the Urgent Care Team.

It is always lovely to hear our patients have received an excellent standard of care from all our staff. I am sure Dr Barwell and ANP Teagan will be delighted to read your post. It is very important to us that we do the small things for example provide a sandwich etc., as we realise that "small things mean big things" to so many people.

Once again that you for your kind words.

Caroline
