We have reached 2,200 stories to date, of which 87% have been extremely positive. Well done to the Western Trust!
Wishing all my colleagues within the Western Trust a very Merry Christmas and a very happy new year ahead with many more Care Opinion stories to read.
I am extremely proud to say I work within the Western Trust. This year has been particularly challenging at times for us all, but we have pulled together, showing our dedication, commitment, passion and drive to serve the people in our community to best standard that we can and this is reflected in the number of rich and positive stories that we have read this year.
We have listened and responded not only to the extremely positive stories but to the room for improvement stories, and have made many changes to our service, sharing our learning at every opportunity and at every level of the organisation.
We have improved signage, correspondence, implemented training, among other changes which have greatly impacted on the way we work.
We will continue to listen and strive to improve services as we move forward into a new year so I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you everyone who took the time to leave your feedback, and thank you to all our responders for listening and responding to stories relevant to your areas.
I have recently received results from a staff survey that had been carried out. Again massive thank you to everyone who took the time to submit your answers. I am going through these results and I will return with outcomes from these so watch out for that coming soon.
Best Wishes
Michelle Scott

Thank you Michelle,
It’s clear WHSCT could teach other Trusts a thing or two.
Caring, attention, affection, appreciation and love. That’s
brilliant and relatively cost free. It’s great you take such
time to listen and respond. Thank you.
