I am the Patient Experience Manager and I have just finalised a new page on the Trust Website about complaints http://www.swlstg-tr.nhs.uk/contact-us/complaints/
It explains how you can raise a complaint, how it will be investigated and what we have been reporting about complaints recently. It attaches some patient stories that were reported to the Board that were sourced from Complaints and also attaches our newly reviewed Complaints Policy.
You will see that the team that investigates complaints is managerially separate from the boroughs where clinical services are provided so you are reassured of a more “arms-length” approach to investigations.
Please let me know what you think of the page.
