Hello everyone,
I’d like to tell you about a change we have made as a direct result of feedback via Patient Opinion.
NHS Lanarkshire provides outpatient physiotherapy services in various locations. You told us that the current seating provided in Lanark Health Centre waiting area was uncomfortable and presented difficulties for people with spinal problems or mobility issues.
A senior physiotherapist reviewed the seating and suggested some optional designs which have been tested with our patients. The selected new seating is now available in Lanark Health Centre to complement the existing seating.
Particular thanks to Lynette (seated), pictured with Doreen Buttery (Operational Service Manager) for helping us to test and select the alternative seating.
We are now reviewing the mix of seating in other locations to make sure it meets the needs of our patients.
If you have an experience of NHS Lanarkshire services you’d like to share, please speak to a member of staff, respond on Patient Opinion, or visit the “Your Feedback” Section of the NHS Lanarkshire website to see the other ways to get in touch www.nhslanarkshire.org.uk
