I'm sure you know we have an API. "A what?" Oh sorry, an Application Programming Interface. No clearer? It's a "data feed", a way to get at our public data by writing some code at your end.
Our APIs (for there are many) are accessible only with a key, and that means a subscription. We have plenty of information about accessing the APIs online.
Increasingly, R is emerging as the language of choice for data scientists. And the purpose of this blog post is simply to share with you two very helpful posts about accessing our APIs using R, written by the very excellent Chris Beeley who is responsible for the impressive Nottinghamshire Healthcare feedback portal.
I hope you find them useful. Good luck with your data wrangling!
