Care Opinion Chat 4: Healthwatch event, 9 March at 2pm

At Care Opinion we are delighted to be offering an online event specifically for Healthwatches.

We have worked with a number of HWs since their inception. There is a natural fit between the work of our organisations. Access to nearly half a million local stories of care on the Care Opinion site complements the valuable work of each local Healthwatch.

Each Healthwatch can access health and social care stories, relevant to their local area, as one way to see what the public are saying about services and how providers are responding. It is a way to access qualitative information that is carefully moderated and available in a public space.

In this event we will discuss the functionality of Care Opinion and how this can benefit the work of a Healthwatch. We will share how different Healthwatch organisations have successfully integrated Care Opinion into what they do.

Going forward we can explore the opportunities for greater joint working to meet the challenges of upcoming restructuring in health and social care provision.

This event will be held on Microsoft Teams on 9 March at 2pm.

2.15 to 2.30pm – Using Care Opinion at a Local Healthwatch. How Care Opinion can support the work of a local Healthwatch. Peter Denton, Manager at Healthwatch Tameside

2.30 to 2.45–  Q&A. Chance to ask questions on talks so far

2.45 to 3pm – Future Challenges/Working Together-How can we work together to respond to the changes to health and social care in England? Tim Hunt, Head of Partnerships and Safeguarding
