Blogging on Care Opinion

Care Opinion includes blogging, which is integrated with stories and services across the whole of our platform.

What is this?

Our blogging feature allows you to add your own posts to Care Opinion.

Once you publish a post, it will appear in your blog. For example, here's the Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust blog.

You can use social media to let everyone know about a new blog post, and allow people to post responses to it if you like.

For example, here's a post from Dr Ben Mearns, with four responses.

If you add tags and services to your blog post, we can show your post on relevant story and service pages.

You can see examples at the bottom of these pages:

What could I use this for?

You could use our blogging feature for all kinds of things:

  • Update everyone on plans for your services
  • Consult with patients, users and carers about changes you plan to make, and collect their responses
  • Add a "change post" when you have made a service improvement
  • Share good practice in getting the most from Care Opinion

How do I get started?

Blogging is included in many of our subscription levels. Any member of a subscription who is an admin or responder can create and publish a blog post.

To get started, log into your subscription and follow the blog link.

There's plenty of help if you need it.
