"Still waiting on biopsy results"

About: General practices in Fife Victoria Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

I had both gastroscopy and colonoscopy in January and was told the results should be back within 2-3 weeks. Almost 6 weeks later and still no news. I have phoned the consultants secretary twice and have been told on both occasions that my results are back. For some reason they still haven't been passed on to my GP? I don't understand why this hasn't happened? As an anxious patient I find this very frustrating, especially as the results are known, just not by myself. What other reason could the consultant have for not telling me? Feel like my phone calls are being ignored.

Thank you very much for chasing my results up. I have now spoken to the doctor and feel much better regarding this.
