I had a letter from Badildon Hospital to say that I needed to have a blood test ASAP as I had to have a CT scan. My blood test had an SDQ sticker and my letter was highlighted to say that I did NOT have to make an appointment, that I could walk in and be seen.
I drove to Orsett hospital to be told I could NOT walk in, they only took appointments. I was offered the last appointment of the day, 3.30pm. I was told I was very lucky to have managed to get the last appointment. I questioned the fact that my letter was highlighted and said I could walk in. So if they were fully booked could I sit and wait and get seen? Again I was told NO.
Infuriated I drove to Badildon hospital, said I was a walk in and showed my letter that highlighted no appointment needed, to walk in and I would be seen.
I drove a total of 60 miles! Total incompetency! I'm so angry!
