My Gran had been cared for in AAU for over a week.
During such a sensitive an upsetting time, Staff were friendly and compassionate towards both my Gran, my family and I.
In particular I would like to thank Lisah (agency nurse), Cat, Rosie, Casey, Claire, Karen, Lovely and Julie.
We were also cared for by Morven, palliative care nurse. We as a family cannot thank her enough for the care she offered us. She took time get to know us and the knitted hearts she gave to my Gran and us was extremely kind and has offered us much comfort in this upsetting time. She listened to our concerns and offered reassurance, guidance and support.
Morven showed my gran such kindness and compassion also and directed her attention straight to her when situations changed. We cannot thank Morven enough and she will truly not be forgotten.
Thank you again to the staff in AAU for supporting us all through an extremely difficult time.
