I want to say a massive thanks to all staff in Labour Suite and then of ward 38 South Ninewells Hospital.
My daughter was rushed from Aberdeen Maternity Hospital in an ambulance on her own at the start of April 2023.
We were told she needed an emergency c section so you can imagine how stressed we all were not knowing what was going on but massive thanks to all doctors and nurses especially Billie, Amy, Bryony (sorry if spelt wrong) and Jessica (student midwife) and everyone else involved in my daughter's care. (Making her partner and myself welcome also strange being away from home)
They explained everything in our terns and was decided to induce my daughter and see if she would manage herself but unfortunately an emergency c section was needed again all staff were amazing and this now includes theatre staff (sorry can't remember everyone names) but Ian the anaesthestist was amazing and spoke to my daughter very supportive and professionally. I want to say no words will ever be enough for the care the team gave and my granddaughter arrived (bit of a struggle but all ended well). After being in labour ward they were transferred to Ward 38 South where again all staff were supportive and nothing was a problem.
Finally they both got back to Aberdeen where care continued and mum and daughter are doing well.
I can't thank everyone enough and I am now one happy Grannie to have my girls home x đź’— keep up the good work.
