This week I attended an ENT outpatient appointment with my mother. Consultant Mr Simpson introduced himself and immediately put us at ease with his lovely manner. Quick chat with my Mum and then, in the most professional, mesmerising, calm manner, he’d scoped up her nose and down to her vocal cords with absolutely no worry caused to her at all.
He then showed her the image on the screen and gave his opinion. Quick chat as to what course of action he thought appropriate, that lovely smile again and we were off…the whole thing took barely more than 5 minutes but didn’t feel rushed in the slightest. Thank you Mr Simpson for the most positive hospital experience we have ever had :)
