In January I was admitted to RD&E with a heart attack which felt like a bad case of Heartburn. I was taken straight to a theatre where the operating team were waiting for me.
The surgeon explained what they were going to do, and once I'd agreed they got on with inserting a stent into my artery. Although they were very professional they were also very friendly and cheerful which puts you totally at eas.
From theatre I was taken through to CCU once again the nursing staff couldn't have been nicer, very cheerful and welcoming once again putting you at ease. You must also praise the backroom staff the cleaners the porters the catering team as well as the people who did the scans all very friendly making what could have been a very stressful event far easier to deal with.
Hospital food tends to get a bad press but I found the meals good and the choice as well
I was then discharged and I think they all deserve the credit for giving me my life back and I would like to thank all and every one of them.
