On Monday evening 23/9 one of our residents had a fall sustaining an injury to her head and neck. We quickly identified that she needed additional help to what we could provide and called 999. Within about 20-30 mins 2 of the most friendly gentlemen appeared at the doors of our residential home. These boys instantly listened to everything we had to say, they both laughed and joked with the staff and the residents and at the same time providing unwavering care to our wee resident.
The simple human touches such as holding the residents hand when checking her over made all the difference and kept her calm.
These boys were amazing and hope that a big big thanks can be said to them from us.
"Amazing ambulance crew"
