My dad was admitted via ambulance suffering from sepsis. He was seen immediately and full sepsis protocol and treatment was carried out without delay.
I would like to mention particularly the consultant Alan and nurse, I think her name was Kelly (I apologise if this was not her name but was quite a worrying night for us all). The care from Alan and Kelly was excellent and professional and they kept us up to date on my dads condition.
He stayed in a&e overnight and was then transferred to ward 12 when a bed became available. I also particularly want to mention csw called Jacqui. Her soft manner warm smile and compassion and kindness made a worrying time a little easier. We will be eternally grateful for the care given to him that night
