In early November 2018, my brother suffered a Cardiac Arrest whilst at work.
He was taken to Barts where he immediately had a Stent fitted and was then transferred to Intensive Care. My brother remained on the Intensive Care unit until mid November, when his Life Support machine was turned off, this was after he donated his Organs.
My brothers death was so unexpected and sudden and it is only now that I feel that I am able to write this to thank everyone involved in his care at Barts.
I now realise how fantastic the NHS is, and how wonderful all those dedicated Doctors, nurses and health care professionals are. We as a family are completely humbled by the care and dedication that my brother received. His care was fantastic if we had paid privately we would never had received better care. They not only treated my brother but also took care of us as a family, always communicating everything they was doing, explaining tests etc. This is a fantastic hospital, with amazing people who work in it. Thank you so much for everyone's care in the Intensive Care, you are all truly wonderful people.
