My father has his first seizure in January 2020. We were advised that even with the current Covid 19 restrictions he would receive an appointment (we assume for a remote assessment) within 17 weeks as his referral was marked as Urgent. We are now 22 weeks post seizure with no contact from a neurologist.
We completely appreciate the delays etc to treatment etc within the current climate but wonder if someone would be kind enough to provide us with details as to how to get an update as to the expected timescale of his first appointment?
As I'm sure you can understand we are keen to avoid any further seizures or hospital admissions at this time and my Father is an excellent candidate for a Near Me appointment so having an idea of timescales would really help put his and our mind at ease.
