218 calls to make an appointment at my local GP surgery, that's right 218 calls, each one taking 40 seconds to tell me I've been kicked out the queue because the lines are full. When I do speak to someone I'm told I will receive a phone call at some point today. Entirely unsatisfactory.

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your feedback and share your experience. I am so sorry to read of the problems you have experienced when trying to contact your GP practice. Many practices are experiencing a very high volume of calls which is unfortunately resulting in some patients being unable to get through. These issues are known and some practices are in the process of upgrading their telephone systems to try and support the number of calls being received.
