As well was responding to stories about your service, you may also want to share those stories with others online or by email.
Part of what makes Care Opinion unique is that the stories people share with us are readily available to share with others. This increases the potential learning and impact of each story. When people share their stories on Care Opinion, we let them know the different ways their stories could be shared and used. We tell people on our consent page.
Sharing stories by email
Each story on Care Opinion has a unique identification number that means you can share a direct link to that story. To do this, go to the story you would like to share and copy the website URL.
For example, the URL shown above will take you to this story.
You can also click "email" to the right of the story, to open your email application with the link already included in a new email message.
Sharing stories on social media
You may want to share Care Opinion stories on your personal or professional social media accounts. You can click the social media icons on each story to quickly do this.
You can share Stories on Facebook or BlueSky, using the icons above. You can find out more information on why we don't share stories directly from our website on X here.
When you go to the social media icon, the site will direct to the platform and will give you a link to the story and the title:
You can edit the post to include a quote from the feedback, but you should always keep the link to the original story. This is to make sure others can see the quote in the original context and it links back to the story author's full feedback.
You can also craft your own posts by simply using the story URL. We do this at Care Opinion and so do several organisations we work with. For example:
